Privacy Controls & Granular Disclosures
Public, Unlisted, and Private modes, field disclosures, leaderboard participation, and search indexing.
#Three Primary Visibility Modes
Configured at /account/privacy:
1. Public: Your profile is indexable, visible at /u/[username], ranked on the verified ecosystem leaderboard, and shareable via dynamic social previews.
2. Unlisted: Your profile is accessible only to visitors who possess your exact direct URL. It is excluded from public search directories and leaderboard rankings.
3. Private: Access to /u/[username] returns an HTTP 403 privacy shield. Your handle is omitted from all search queries, API lookups, and leaderboard tables.
#Granular Field Disclosures
Even in Public mode, you can toggle individual fields on or off independently:
• Show Primary Email: Keep your email private while showing your bio.
• Show Real Name: Display only your @handle and screen name.
• Show Backup Email: Mask secondary recovery contact.
• Show Location & Country: Hide geographical presence.
• Show Online & Last Seen: Mask active telemetry indicators.
• Activity Privacy: Toggle telemetry feed visibility between Public and Private.
• Leaderboard Visibility: Opt out of public leaderboard rankings without making your whole profile private.
• Search Engine Indexing: Include or omit robots meta tags from your public card.
#Zero Cross-Service Data Leakage
Connected ecosystem applications (e.g., NSGO IP Logger) only receive your stable subject ID and allowed scopes. They cannot query private fields you have disabled in your privacy settings.
